Dearest Granny, I just wanted to say how much I love your work. I would really love to learn to create my own scrap elements. Are there any free programs you can suggest? I have work with paintshop pro. I also have photoshop elements. but have no clue how to use it. lol Blessings xo
I do everything in Photoshop Elements. I love my old Photoshop Elements 3. I'm just learning Photoshop Elements 10...not up to love yet. If I were you I'd see what you can learn from existing YouTube Photoshopt tutorials. I'll have Photoshop tutorials but I want to master Photoshop 10 first. My favorite Elements trick is to remove the color on something I already made and use the adjust color to tweak it to match something else... I guess you see that again and again and again in my flowers. Fun. I will say making elements with Photoshop 10 has been a little easier because of improvements in the select (lasso) tool. As for a free program, there's http://pixlr.com/editor/ But I'm so spoiled by PS Elements it takes patients. Here's an article that may help. http://www.lifeclever.com/10-free-web-based-alternatives-to-photoshop/
